Frank C. "Duke" Steinemann, Jr. - CEO
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Steinemann has a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in History. In 1970 he entered the real estate business in investment underwriting and sales. Duke subsequently became an advisor and acquisition specialist of regional shopping centers and major office buildings for Hexalon, a consortium of Dutch and English pension funds. In 1979 he formed Steinemann & Company, a full service Real Estate Company primarily focused on Development.

Duke has over 30 years of real estate ownership, brokerage, management and development experience. His building developments have won numerous awards in recognition of quality new development and restoration in Midtown/Downtown Atlanta. Additionally, over his career Steinemann has participated in real estate transactions throughout the Southeastern United States.
Charles W. (Buddy) Young, Jr. - Senior Vice President & Development Partner
Mr. Young graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from the School of Architecture. He spent eighteen years as President of Young Construction, Inc., and Atlanta Construction Services, Inc. During that time, his companies completed over 500 projects for a variety of office, warehouse, retail, restaurant and residential developers and owners. While affiliated with Ira H. Hardin Company, he worked on the team that completed the CNN Center. Mr. Young has been associated with Steinemann & Company for the past twelve years and is Senior Vice President and the Development Partner on all new projects. Mr. Young has over thirty years of development and construction experience.

Michael B. Cills, CPA - President and COO
Michael is a graduate of The George Washington University and has a Bachelors of Administration in Accounting. He started his career with Arthur Andersen LLP as a tax associate and proceeded to rise to Senior Tax Manager. He then joined Deloitte & Touche LLP to further his career. In that position he consulted and structured over $1 billion of real estate investment by foreign institutions, public real estate investment trusts, private companies and individuals. In 2004, Michael joined Steinemann & Company as Chief Financial Officer. Since then, he has worked on various development topics including Community Development Districts, financing and rezoning of property, leasing, and dispositions.

Brian L. Spahr - Development Manager
Brian is a graduate of Jacksonville University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Geography. He has over 15 years of professional experience in the environmental and development/real estate field. Specific experience includes: wetland assessments, wetland delineations, permitting with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (CE), Regional Water Management Districts, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (F&WCC), wetland function and value assessments, water quality analysis, biological surveys, protected species surveys, habitat conservation plans, mitigation planning, mitigation monitoring, development of mitigation banks, Global Positioning System (GPS) surveys, land-use mapping, environmental planning, project management and general environmental consultation. Mr. Spahr is skilled in both management and field operations of both small scale and large-scale multi-discip linary projects including Developments of Regional Impact (DRI’s). Other experience includes land surveying, gopher tortoise relocation, benthic macroinvertebrate studies with respect to water quality analysis, studies for habitat characteristics, densities, and management plans for birds including the Florida scrub jay.
Brian joined Steinemann & Company in 2006 as Development Manager. He is responsible for obtaining, managing, and maintaining property entitlements for our development projects and real estate holdings.
